This blog is about acknowledging and celebrating the spiritual aspect of life, through the time-honored activity of sharing stories.
My husband Larry and I are both contributing stories and editing this blog together. Spirit is the center of our lives, and everything else that we do comes from this orientation.
These stories are not about ghosts (though ghosts may appear now and then), but rather about the awareness, ability, and experience of the living spirit that each one of us is, as we go about our daily lives with our earthly bodies.
We see signs of spirit all around, every day. To us, the spirit is that which is good in everyone. It is that which feels and expresses love and kindness. It is that which cares about sustaining all life, including its own physical body and the surrounding environment. It is the source of creativity, art, and beauty. It is our conscience that knows right from wrong. It is the life force which restores health and renews life. It is our intuition that can know things beyond physical facts. It is that which is powerful, strong, and able to move mountains in order to do good in the world and the courage to reach out and set things aright. It is the power to create our lives as we want them. It is what we really are.
There is a lot to write about! We have lifetimes of stories to share, and look forward to reading your stories too!
